学位审核
Students may check their degree progress at any time by selecting 学位审核 from their 学生档案. Students who are seeking two degree programs have a drop-down option on the 学位 field at the top of the degree audit where they can choose which audit to view. 还有一个 如果 option to allow exploration of other degrees and majors.
Undergraduate Students
为本科生, the degree audit lists all requirements for their declared major including general education, 部门, and college requirements. Undergraduate degree audits update automatically with each change of major and at the end of each term after grades are posted. Declared minors and academic certificates will also appear in the degree audit with their requirements. 看到 Introduction to 学位审核 handout [pdf] for more information.
Upon approval from their academic advisor and 部门 chair (and college, 如果需要), undergraduate students may submit a 学位审核 Substitution/Waiver Request form to satisfy alternative degree, major, or minor requirements.
研究生
For graduates, the degree audit requirements are generated from their study plans. Study plans are created in the 计划 portion of 学位审核 and then reviewed by the major professor, the academic 部门, the College of Graduate Studies, and the Office of the Registrar through an automated workflow. After a proposed study plan is approved a degree audit is produced, personalized to your unique program.
To start the process of designing and submitting a study plan:
- Meet with your major professor/program advisor and identify what classes will make up your study plan.
- Enter these classes using the 计划 tab in your degree audit and 提交 你的计划.
- Check VandalMail for messages as 你的计划 is reviewed and approved.
If you need to make changes to your study plan after it has been approved, you will need to copy and edit 你的计划 on your 学位审核 计划 tab (see tutorials below).
